Robert S. Porter is the President of The Ark Individual Insurance Brokerage, Inc. In 2007, The Ark merged with The Alpha Group adding a small group and individual expertise, both under and over age 65 (Medicare), to the practice. The Ark name was retained because of brand awareness in this growing market segment.

Whether you’re a small business owner, a student, self-employed or in between jobs, you need health insurance. But finding the right coverage can be time consuming, confusing and expensive. That’s why in 2001, Robert started The Ark.

About Rob Porter

Robert began his health insurance career with Medical Mutual of Ohio. Robert held the titles of Broker Service Representative, Sales Consultant and Manager, Proposal Unit and Product Development.

Robert is a native Clevelander. He is a graduate of University School and the University of Wisconsin where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication. He currently serves as Co-President of the board of directors of the nonprofit organization: Camp for All Kids.

His hobbies include music and Crossfit. He lives with his wife Jennifer, and children Sam and Kate in Shaker Heights.
